This place is fantastic! The service is warm, welcoming and really helpful. The quality of products are by far better than any others we have tried! My Teddy leaves not one crumb, really enjoys the variety and loves to visit the Pet Butcher for all the attention and treats! Highly recommend…. Thank you guys!

A wonderful discovery in the Port Adelaide area, especially for those of us looking for alternative fresh pet meat supplies without preservatives following the recent closure of another supplier. Visiting Nick and his team here is like I imagine the good old fashioned service, greeting and chat that our grandparents experienced. I can't speak highly enough and it's a bonus when our dogs are welcome too. Be warned though, their noses will be tempted. Not only the varied dried treats, cooked meatloaves that look like they belong in a David Jones food display or freshly minced varieties. Well done, pup and I look forward to visiting more often.

I discovered The Pet Butcher only because I took a different route home and I'm so glad I did! My dogs are tiny toy poodles, survivors of a puppy farm. Their usual food was rice and rotting chicken frames and so they suffer a variety of health problems. In a few short weeks, the amazing healthy, tasty food they have been enjoying has visibly improved their intestinal health. Today they both insisted on coming inside and meeting the lovely staff, and of course enjoying treats! We are so grateful and happy to have added a weekly visit to their much-deserved enrichment.

This shop exceeded my expectations with its exceptional customer service, well-designed and vrry clean shop, and an extensive food selection at reasonable prices. A welcoming atmosphere, doggy friendly and my pup loved it, and was even treated to goodies We will return even if its a drive.

The staff always make our dog want to come back so she drags us here whenever she can. The food looks so good people stop and think its a butcher for human food.

We’ve had such a great experience with our local pet butcher. Our dog had a skin condition and they took the time to really talk through our concerns and recommend the best food for him. Since changing his diet, his skin issues have completely cleared up. So grateful for their knowledge and genuine care — highly recommend!

Absolutely love the Pet Butcher! Darryl & Karen are awesome folks who always offer first rate customer service. It is an absolute joy walking into a shop where everyone (workers and customers) are smiling. And the most important thing, my dog goes absolutely nuts for everything they stock. My boy can’t go a day without a smoked chicken sausage!! Plus the special treats make training and obedience a breeze!

I went into The Pet Butcher today and was so impressed! They were extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge range of pet food and treats and the store itself is spotless. I was able to get some great food for my fur babies. They were so helpful in making recommendations. Highly recommend checking them out!

Darryl, Coralie and Karen are absolutely incredible, the service is 11/10 every single time and they spoil my golden retriever rotten! I've been going every week for years now and the team are always welcoming, attentive and go above and beyond.
